Creekside Park in Pleasanton, CA is a great place to take your family during the day. It has plenty of shade for you and your kids to sit under on hot days so you can enjoy picnics with friends. The park also has some fun activities like swings, slides, and even an area where the little ones can play on different types of ground surfaces.
Creekside has a playground for everyone, even those on the autism spectrum. There is an area specifically designed for children who enjoy jumping from surface to surface as well as swings that are cushioned with thick mats.
To make your visit even more enjoyable, there are three separate picnic areas where you can eat lunch or dinner surrounded by beautiful trees along with plenty of benches if you want some alone time. In addition, Creekside also offers two tennis courts which may be rented for a small fee.
This Park is a great place to go and relax on nice days, but there are also lots of fun activities that you can do as well. Creekside has an area called “The Tree Top” which consists of ropes hanging from trees where children can use their balance skills to maneuver through obstacles course-style.
You may not be aware, but this park offers free face painting every Sunday during the summertime at 11:00 am – 12:15 pm located near picnic areas B & C (east side). Lastly, another activity kids might like would be playing mini-golf on the Creekside golf course.
There are also lots of fun activities that adults can do as well. For example, if an adult wants to go fishing they will need to rent one of seven fishing poles available close to picnic areas A & B (west side). If an adult prefers not getting any exercise whatsoever then have no fear because there are lawn games too like Jenga or Connect Four which might even double as ice breakers between family members who haven’t seen each other in a while.
