Mission Hills Park is located at 600 Junipero St, Pleasanton, CA. It’s a beautiful place where people can enjoy the outdoors and take in the scenery without too much hassle from traffic or other distractions. You might even get lucky and come across some deer. It is a Neighborhood park featuring grassy open space, a playground, a BBQ pit & a 50-ft. slide. The big slide makes the park unique and it is also a great place to have a picnic!

There are areas for having a picnic, riding scooters/skateboards, or even cartwheeling if that’s your thing. There are also areas for walking or jogging. The grass is picture perfect and there are a lot of shade trees.

Children’s play structure, half basketball court, best slide in town, cute gazebo, 1/2 mile paved path when you walk the figure 8 and pond with a running creek. There’s a staircase on the left side of the park for those folks who want to get a bit of exercise. The highlight of the park however is the 50-foot slides.

Mission Hills Park is a place for those looking to recapture the nostalgia of their childhood. This park has changed over the years – there’s no longer much free time for kids these days so you don’t see many children running around these parts anymore. But if you want to take a walk back in time through this old haunt you can find your memories. Through Mission Park.

There are many different trails for biking, walking, horseback riding, and more that you can explore on your own or with friends and family. And if it’s just too darn hot out there for ya then don’t worry because they have plenty of shaded areas which provide relief from the heat while still providing that amazing view.

The end of summer is always bittersweet. It’s the time where everyone starts to pack up and head back to school, but it also means that there are a lot fewer people in parks like Mission Hills Park.
