The May Nissen Park in Livermore CA has been around since 1957 when it was donated by Mrs. Maysie May Nissen Copple in memory of her parents Mr & Mrs. Peter James Copple Jr., who were pioneers in the Livermore Valley wine industry from 1869 to 1949. The park spans over 11 acres and includes a play area, ball fields, and picnic areas. The May Nissen Livermore playground is filled with natural elements such as logs to climb on, rocks for balancing activities, slides of all sorts (including the SkyWay® Giant Flower Sun Shade), swing sets that range in height from age-appropriate up to adults, and more!
